MOGO Seat Review- Focal Upright Furniture

What is a MOGO Seat?

The MOGO seat is part of a line of furniture that Focal Upright has developed to be used at standing desks with the goal of providing the user the benefits of standing, without the fatigue. The MOGO is lightweight and can be folded into a compact size great for using in the office or taking to an outdoor concert.  It’s adaptable base enables you to select either rubber or spiked plastic for ample traction on hard or soft surfaces.

Why I Bought One

Before fully committing to the standing desk world, I decided to embark on a quick DIY fix for my current desk, which you can view here. Since it wouldn’t be adjustable I decided to pair my new workspace with the MOGO seat to help with any fatigue I was bound to experience from not being able to sit down.

Well How is it?

I will continue to update my experience as time progresses, but as of writing this I’ve been using the seat for a week and have to say I really enjoy it. It took some time to figure out my proper height adjustment, but once I did it feels really comfortable, especially with the padding they now add to every seat. I purchased the MOGO Bundle which includes the Stabilizing Foot Rest whose job is to keep your feet in a more natural 90 degree angle. For the extra $30 it’s well worth it. The seat is well designed, folds up very small , feels very sturdy, and came perfectly packaged. Lastly, I love the mobility this seat offers. I can shift my body position in all directions, stretch my torso, and even squat down and give my legs a quick refresher.
